Nuvi 200 lineup - The 200 series features solid navigators that are good on the budget. There are not many features offered from this line of Nuvi’s. This is a very basic level series and simply cannot compare the vast wealth of features that the 600 series has to offer.

Nuvi 300 lineup - The 300 series is a popular line of Nuvi’s that features many of what the 600 series has to offer. The highest end from this line offers almost everything that there is available. A big difference is the lack of a widescreen display that only the 600 and 700 line of models offer.

Nuvi 600 lineup - The 600 series is a line of models that feature a beautiful widescreen display. Not only does the widescreen makes reading your maps easier, but displaying pictures and such from your camera memory card is also more enjoyable. This line contains a range of features like all, but primarily the widescreen is most appealing of all.

Nuvi 700 lineup - This line of series features some of the new and sophisticated navigational software available. Navigating has never been any easier with the extensive software package. The 700 series is practically the overall design that takes the highest end features and is molded into this high tech gadget. This is definitely the line of ultimate travel assistants on the market today.

The Nuvi 200 is a very simple model that feature only basic GPS tracking and navigating for within the USA. When this little model is compared to the Nuvi 660, there is a world of difference between these two. The Nuvi 660 is in another level with a beautiful widescreen display, hands free calling with Bluetooth, and a powerful FM traffic receiver to track traffic conditions. There are a couple of other features including mp3 playback, audio book playback, as well as it features a few other travel tools to make life easier. The Nuvi 660 also is usable throughout the entire North American region, making it an excellent travel tool within the continent.

Garmin Nuvi 200 Recommended For:

Other features such as Bluetooth compatibility, mp3 playback, and audio book playback are not available on the Nuvi 250.

Garmin Nuvi 250 Recommended For:

The Nuvi 250 is suited to the beginning user, or the user who does not desire the extra features but still require wide map coverage.

These are two great models that are both usable through North America. The Nuvi 270 is still a fairly basic GPS device, however it does have a bunch of tools that the user may take interest in, which includes jpeg viewer, clocks with multiple time zones, various measurement convertors, and of course the calculator. The 660 has a bunch of other features that it has over the 270. The Nuvi 660 is known for the beautiful widescreen display, the Bluetooth compatibility for hands free calling as well as mp3 and audio book playback for some entertainment. While the Nuvi 270 is not as fully featured as the 660, it does come with a much smaller price tag to fit most budgets.

Garmin Nuvi 270 Recommended For:

The Nuvi 270 is suited for the novice consumer who wants a GPS device that soley performs traffic navigation that is usable cross-continental.

Both the Nuvi 350 and the 660 are models designed for use anywhere in North America. The features do range quite a bit though. While the 350 is able to accept an optional FM traffic transmitter, the 660 already has one integrated for your convenience. The Nuvi 660 does have Bluetooth for hands free mobile calls, as well as a colorful widescreen display for your viewing pleasure. Both models do have mp3 and audio book playback, as well as a bunch of travel essentials which includes calculators, convertors, and such to help you on your trips.

Garmin Nuvi 350 Recommended For:

The Nuvi 350 GPS is recommended for the average user who wants the best rounded navigator, in performance, features, and price for North American usage.
